The three prime areas are:

The staff in Foundation Stage at Joseph Locke Primary School firmly believe that you as parents are your child's first and most important teachers.
The parent/child relationship is a very special one. You as parents should feel privileged to have it and be prepared to make the most of it. Have fun with your children, spend time talking to them and playing with them. Wait patiently for your child to reach each stage of development and enjoy each stage they are at rather than trying to rush them on. Please also show interest in them and their learning.
Help us to help your child
As parents and carers you will probably be wondering how you can support us in extending your child’s learning at home. A number of leaflets and booklets have been produced to assist you in this if you would like copies of these, or if you have further questions, please just ask. A member of the Foundation Stage Staff is always available to help.
