In the Autumn term, we will be learning exploring the wonders of Ancient Egypt. We will be exploring the importance of the river Nile and how ancient Egyptians used the river to support livelihood. We will also be investigating the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb and the stories we can learn from his possessions.
In science, we are exploring how the different cellestial bodies in our solar system interact with each other. In art, our topic will be focussing on drawing skills and how this can be applied to draw faces of different expressions. In DT, we will be working together to create a bridge, which meets a design criteria! In maths, we are exploring the place value of larger numbers up to 1,000,000. Our guided reading text explores the legendary story of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory written by famous author Roald Dahl. In the afternoon, our class story is A Series Of Unfortunate Events.
